How to buy a car?

AUCTION EQUALS MARKET PRICE

All cars on the www.idealauto.ee website are sold during the auction or at a fixed price. Throughout the auction, you can see how many people are participating and what bids they are making. The fact that in our auction environment it is not possible to bid more than €50 at a time gives the buyer a sense of security. PS! To participate in the auction and bid, you must register as a user.

The date and time when the auction ends are indicated separately in the advertisement of each car at the auction. If the last bid is made just before the end of the auction, the auction will be extended by 4 minutes. The auction ends if no new bids are made within 4 minutes.

PARTICIPATION IN THE AUCTION

The auction starts from the starting price of the car, which is indicated in the advertisement. When making an offer, the buyer can choose to offer €50 more than the current price of the car or to make their maximum offer immediately.

HOW DO AUTOMATIC AND MAXIMUM OFFERS WORK?

Automatic bidding means that you indicate the maximum price you are willing to pay for the car and it will allow you to gradually and automatically increase your bid by €50 at a time if there are still bidders entering the auction. The automatic bid will never exceed the maximum bid you set. If “Bidder 1” sets a maximum bid of €15,000 and “Bidder 2” makes its maximum bid in exactly the same amount, then “Bidder 1” will lead the bid.

HOW CAN I BUY A CAR AT A FIXED PRICE?

To buy a car at a fixed price, click the button “Book a car” on the car auction page and send us your contact details. We will then contact you within 24 hours to confirm your purchase. If more than one car reservation has been made, we will contact each customer in the order of booking.

WHAT IS THE RESERVE PRICE?

The reserve price is the minimum price the seller charges for the car. The reserve price is not known to the bidders, but it can be seen whether the minimum price has been reached or not.

WHAT IS A COMMISSION?

When you buy a car through Ideal Auto, you pay a commission in addition to the agreed price for the car. The amount of the commission fee depends on the value of the car and is indicated in the advertisement of each car on our website www.idealauto.ee

The results of the test and the actual condition of the vehicle are indicated in the advertisement and photographs of the damaged parts are also included. Our business concept is based on the fact that the car is so clearly and thoroughly described that you do not have to come and see the car on-site to get a complete picture. Should it happen that the description of the newly purchased car does not correspond to reality, you have the right to cancel the purchase.

PS! As all cars have been inspected and tested by our technicians, there is no possibility of a test drive! When buying a car through us, the consumer protection act applies and you have the right to file a claim if the car should show hidden defects after the purchase.

AT THE END OF THE AUCTION

If you made the highest bid at the end of the auction, you have won the bidding process and will receive an email from Ideal Auto to confirm this. When the reserve price is reached, Ideal Auto will contact you to set a time for you to pick up the new car. Reservations are made through our customer service.

AMOUNT OF COMMISSION

Commission prices start at 690 euros, but the final price is determined by the value of the car sold. The commission includes the following: washing, testing, evaluation, advertising, auctioning, and handling claims. The exact prices are as follows:
